Dai sistemi per l’ottimizzazione delle grandi turbomacchine delle centrali elettriche, agli studi per il miglioramento delle prestazioni di motori tradizionali benzina e diesel, e di nuovi motori ad iniezione diretta, fino alle recenti ricerche su propulsori di tip innovativo quali motorizzazioni ibride a rotismo epicicloidale e motori a combustione interna funzionanti a idrogeno.

This includes systems for the optimization of large gas turbines for electric production plants, studies for the improvement of the performances of internal combustion engines, petrol and diesel, and new engines with directed injection. Recently it is also actively involved in research on propulsors of innovative type, such as hybrid propulsion systems with an epicyclical gear-boxes and internal combustion engines working with hydrogen.
